The project is located within a gated community . In the North of Bangalore . It’s an independent villa .

The total area of the project is 11,500 sqft

The ground floor houses the main living areas. A living room, Dining , Bar lounge , home office , kitchen services . These open out to a large rear garden with a pavilion , and a swimming pool . The floors above house the private suites.

For this widely travelled family all of whom are very aware of the world and the luxuries it offers, it was a challenge to design a space/ home / house – that offered all the extravagance of life and yet left one with the warmth of a home.

A family who loves to host and entertain. The house is planned into 3 zones floor wise .

The lower floor is designed for hospitality. Where the living dining bar pool garden all seamlessly flow into each other.

The intermediate floor for the personal spaces, the residential suites all opening into the family living .

The top floor is fun personal entertainment. The home theater along with a music room.

A series of short stories . Each with an intense personality. The house is a collection of refined elements . Both in terms of the fixtures and the elements of lighting and art.

We were looking to create a space for life. Each space has a personality of its own, whole seamlessly being complimented or intertwining with the idea of the house .

An example would be the formal living  double height where a larger than life  “monstera ” klove light hangs from the ceiling. . The space is detailed to give the large custom built  lighting element , a canvas to present itself. The remaining of the elements, furniture, upholstery, carpets and supplementary lighting plays a sophisticated part in the presentation.

A wall is not a wall but a medium between two spaces . The medium being a screen door. Fixed screen a piece of furniture or just a change of flooring material. We work with minimizing  the number of walls and maximizing the “medium”

The curation and detailing of each of the interior elements and how they compliment each other.   The living room has the large 8 foot – custom sized “ Monstera “ Klove Studio chandelier. The chandelier hangs from a recessed tapered archidply veneer ceiling designed to house the light feature. While the light fitting has a story of its own looking over a set of bespoke furniture pieces custom made for the space. The walls are panelled and texture painted. Designed and executed by Cane Boutique. With carefully located currios from Curio Casa. The selected carpet from Jaipur Rugs.

The dining space is another example where The Klove designed “Goa collection” presence is also felt. Over the large 10 seater dining table. We collaborated with K2 India to create a highly refined product . A Black Agate Dining tabletop, resting on a fluid curved brass jointless sheet base, all coming together seamlessly and simply to complete a dining space that is sophisticated, well used for family and entertainment. The sofas in the dining room were brought together by Magari.

The residential spaces are very clear reflections of the personalities of the house – where the idea of luxury being personal.

One of the Suites being a natural modern palette with travertine clad stone wall, in a modern Zen atmosphere . Solid wood in the ceiling and floor , accented with gold light fixtures and colour in the upholstery.

The other translates to an element of contrast, where the Black Framed fluted glass wardrobe with the Sabyasachi Wall accents the Haute Couture, it cradles with care. The selection of the furnishings and furniture enhance the design intentions of being black yet white .

In the the third the suite,  the bed is the centre stage, with polished wood ceiling, and a chandelier over the bed. A play of brushed gold, with a detailed motif wallpaper are held together with the Darker Accented Furnishings

For the suites, the Wooden flooring was supplied and installed by Malsa Global, Wardrobes executed by Kelachandra and Aristo,  Interior Ceiling and panel works done by Kelachandra, along with the beds. Lights by Hybec Pro Gold Selection and White Teak , Curios by Curio Casa , Carpets by Jaipur Rugs, Sofas and Loose furniture by Cane Boutique & Magari
