U - FLIP

The U-FLIP was a citation winning entry. The U-FLIP was a response to the urgent requirement for Street furniture. The modular design, makes the product versatile not only in its function but also in where it can be located.

We are first designers and then architects who can further be segregated as urban planners, etc. At times we get to put on multiple hats.

The U-Flip gave us that opportunity. As studioXS we desperately wanted to claim stake to the XS – extra small definition of who we were. The modular aspect , material and multiple use of the U-Flip. As also the idea of customization, where the local materials could play a part in the design really fascinated and thrilled us with this design.
